Glenn Rochon

Glenn Rochon

Instructor

Glenn’s introduction to pickleball came in 2018. Grounded in the racket sports of tennis (an ex professional instructor) and ping pong (a fanatic for ten years), pickleball provided a pleasant addictive change for him.

The sport brings its own unique challenges, including rapid technological change in paddle construction (making things very fast on the court!); and an overload of information on the Internet, which must be constantly sorted through by a coach if one wants to keep up.

Glenn is an avid student of the game, and considers himself a strategist. He is PPR and RPO certified, and has logged hundreds of hours on the teaching court. He truly enjoys interacting with eager pupils. He values courtesy and good sportsmanship; hard work focused on a worthwhile goal; and proper technique. His philosophy is to draw out the unique individual style of an aspiring player.
