Ted Kosciak
Director of Coaching/Instructor
Ted Kosciak, the Director of Coaching here at Rt.12 Pickle has been playing pickleball since early 2023 and has developed a deep appreciation for the sport and obtained his coaching certification through USA Pickleball. Ted is a graduate of Bentley University, where he played baseball for four years and was inducted into the Bentley Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989. Prior to discovering Pickleball, Ted completed several triathlons, including the Louisville Ironman in 2017.
Ted is the proud father of three daughters and began his coaching career at the Youth League level. He then went on to coach the varsity softball program at Groton-Dunstable for eight years and later coached the softball program at Regis College for two years.
When Ted is not on the pickleball courts, he enjoys running, cycling, jumping on his paddleboard, and spending time with his four grandchildren, who have also developed a love for pickleball.
Ted is passionate about the sport and is eager to share his knowledge and experience with others to help them enjoy the game as much as he does.

Chuck Arnold
Instructor
Chuck is a PPR certified coach who started playing pickleball in summer of 2022 after foot, calf and knee injuries forced him off the tennis court, where, many years ago, he played at the collegiate level. It was at that point a friend introduced him to pickleball, and he has been hooked ever since, and is dedicated to helping others learn the game.

Janet Johnson
Instructor
Janet Johnson is a certified PPR Instructor with over four years of playing experience and a competitive tennis background. Janet has also medaled in several DUPR rated pickleball tournaments. Janet is one of the organizers of the Jacob Rogers Memorial Pickleball Tournament which raised over $28,000 for youth mental health. Janet has over 20 years of teaching experience in the Shrewsbury Public Schools.

Julie Graham
Instructor
Julie Graham is from Paxton MA. She discovered pickleball in the summer of 2020 upon retirement and has enjoyed playing, teaching and promoting the sport for the past 3 plus years. Julie is a USAP Ambassador as well as a PPR Certified Coach. She loves teaching beginners and intermediates as well as playing competitively throughout the country.

Joe D'Agostino

Joe D’Agostino is a PCI certified instructor, father, husband, golf and pickleball fanatic. Joe is a graduate of Assumption College in Worcester where he played baseball for four years. He was a successful youth baseball and football coach for 15 years. He also played and coached tennis for 20 years before a major shoulder injury forced him to the sidelines. Having found pickleball a year ago, Joe is enthusiastic to share his passion for this great game. He enjoys watching his students grow, progress and succeed at all levels.

Mike Hamilton

Mike is a PPR Certified Coach who specializes in targeted skill development. As the coach for WPI's team, he has found he loves working with skilled players looking to take the next step. He likes to try to identify specific techniques that will elevate players to their next level. Mike's coaching philosophy centers on developing key skills that make the difference in competitive play or when you want to win in open play. Players can expect measurable improvement in specific skills like serves and net play, while also refining technique and building competitive readiness. As pickleball continues to evolve, Mike helps players develop new skills and adapt to more aggressive opponents.

Dom Albanese
Instructor
Dom Albanese is a PPR certified coach who loves everything about pickleball! A former tennis player, his skills in that area translate well to pickleball. He loves teaching both beginners and intermediate players, helping them to improve in every area. Dom is a dentist whose keen eye enables him to give helpful feedback on the spot. His goal is to always make learning fun!

Terri Attinello
Instructor
Terri is an IPTPA Certified Pickleball instructor from Franklin. She has been playing pickleball since 2016, and teaching since 2019. She is the Pickleball Program Director and Instructor at the Franklin Recreation Department. Terri has taught at several locations in Norfolk, Middlesex and Worcester Counties.

Suzanne Cox

Suzanne Cox is a PPR Certified Pickleball Coach from Northborough with 3+ years of experience teaching beginner & intermediate players. Suzanne took up pickleball in 2019 after transitioning from tennis. She has taught pickleball for the towns of Northborough and Shrewsbury, and co-organizes the annual Jacob Rogers Memorial Pickleball Tournament for youth mental health. When not playing pickleball, Suzanne enjoys hiking, biking, and kayaking throughout New England

Stephen Masciarelli
Instructor
Steve Masciarelli has a passion for racket sports. First it was ping pong. Then the main focus became tennis, where he competed at the collegiate level, followed by participating in seven USTA qualified national events. Then came pickleball in 2020! Naturally enough, he quickly became proficient at the sport. He turned his coder’s eye to the nuances of correct form, strategy and tactics, and has ingested the Professional Pickleball.
