Brian Duval

Brian Duval

Instructor

Brian Duval is a Worcester native who achieved success early in his athletic career, winning two little league championships! At Burncoat High in his senior year, the Division 1 baseball team claimed the district championship. At Springfield College he played 3rd base for two years, before deciding to forgo his baseball dreams. He hopped on a highly focused academic track, which eventually led him to a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. In the meantime, however, Brian had found racquetball. This most certainly paved the way for a smooth expert transition later on into the sport of pickleball, from which he has never turned back. A born competitor (he knows Kempo karate!), shortly after learning pickleball, Brian quickly tallied nine medals in state-wide tournaments. Having been a coach in several sports, he decided to pursue PPR certification. He wants to share his passion for this wonderful sport with others, meeting them on their own terms, adapting his methods to their own individual needs.

enough, he quickly became proficient at the sport. He turned his coder’s eye to the
nuances of correct form, strategy and tactics, and has ingested the Professional Pickleball

Ted Kosciak

Ted Kosciak

Ted is a graduate of Bentley University, where he played baseball for four years and was inducted into the Bentley Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989. Prior to discovering Pickleball, Ted completed several triathlons, including the Louisville Ironman in 2017.

Ted is the proud father of three daughters and began his coaching career at the Youth League level. He then went on to coach the varsity softball program at Groton-Dunstable for eight years and later coached the softball program at Regis College for two years.

When Ted is not on the pickleball courts, he enjoys running, cycling, jumping on his paddleboard, and spending time with his four grandchildren, who have also developed a love for pickleball.

Ted is passionate about the sport and is eager to share his knowledge and experience with others to help them enjoy the game as much as he does.
