Rt.12 Pickle is excited to host the USSP Senior (50+) Spring Classic Tournament by PIG
April 4 – April 6, 2025
Friday, Apr 4 – Women's Doubles – Starting at 3PM (oldest bracket plays first)
Saturday, Apr 5 – Mixed Doubles
Sunday, Apr 6 – Men's Doubles
Registration open to all players 50 and older (ends March 27th):

USSP Senior events are a Age/Skill format - no membership is required, but if you have your USSP membership number in your profile, you will get a $10 rebate/discount.
Brackets by Age: 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-80, 80+
Then by Skill: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+
Brackets will be combined by age then skill if necessary
Format:

ALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2.

Most Round Robins are game to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams, round-robin matches may be 1 game to 11 and win by 2.

Top 4 teams go to the playoff. Lead in matches are 1 game to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2 out of 3 games to 11 and win by 2 or 1 game to 15. Bronze Match 1 game to 15.

Tournament Director may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.

Tournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings).
RAFFLE
Rt.12 Pickle will hold a raffle during the tournament featuring many incredible donations from local businesses (see below). All proceeds will benefit the The Shine Initiative, a nonprofit dedicated to building mental health awareness, with a focus on Massachusetts' schools, businesses and community organizations – in partnership with the 3rd Annual Jacob Rogers Memorial
Pickleball Tournament being held in May (not a Rt.12 Pickle event).
